Neschen again at photokina

Specialist for image protection and finishing showcases its knowledge to trade visitors in hall 02.2 at booth B011

After several years of absence Neschen AG returns to photokina. At the international trade show for the photo and image processing industry. In cooperation with the printer manufacturer Epson, the specialist for image protection and finishing is presenting its products in hall 02.2, booth B011 from September 16 to 21. Exhibitions of images, manufactured in cooperation with Neschen, are showcased in the open-air areas. At the booth, the focus is on lamination machines and material presentations by the Bückeburg company.

At Epson's 500 sqm booth, Neschen is concentrating on its Gudy-Fine-Art-Portfolio as well as its product range Filmoplast, that enjoys an excellent worldwide reputation among photographers. Practical applications are being showcased. On all exhibition days a team is presenting machine and material demonstrations with a Pro S Laminator. Thus, Neschen underscores the trend that professional photo studios take on the whole production chain including lamination for high value photo presentations. At photokina, the Bückeburg company expects increased interest in its laminating machines.

It speaks for itself that the joint booth with Epson is designed partly with Neschen materials. The outside walls are extensively decorated with digital print wallpaper and existing glass areas with window-grip ultra clear. In addition, give-away postcards on citylight superior, laminated with filmolux UV ultra gloss are being distributed. So, at the booth, trade visitors can get a first hand impression of Neschen's expertise.

The open-air area showcases image installations in XXL-format that have been manufactured in cooperation between Neschen, Epson and the adventure world photography festival, at the Baltic Sea Spa town Zingst. The Bückeburg coating specialist contributed digital print media and protection laminates. So, for example, photos from the photographer Jan Michael Hosan can be seen at the open-air installation at the southern entrance of photokina. He took these images in the butterfly garden of castle Sayn. The animals are colorfully staged by a special illumination technique and presented in a large scale at photokina. Further image presentations employing Neschen materials can be seen in hall 9.1 (Community stage) where the best 100 images from the online competition "heartbeat of nature" 2014 are showcased at the northern entrance area (Photo report by photographer Ami Vitale about breeding and return to the wilderness of panda bears in China). At the northern boulevard the best images from the photo competition Close-up as well as "nomads at the fire - the nature people of Himba by Michael Poliza can be seen.
