Neschen has been established for decades as the leading manufacturer of protective and mounting films for the library sector. In many libraries the use of filmolux and filmoplast branded book protection films and book repair tapes are integral daily activities when it comes to book protection and repair.
Reason enough for the Bückeburg company to present itself again in 2014 at Bibliothekartag (librarian day). In addition to the proven protective films, the professional book lamination station BLS Professional and the robust table dispenser TA3, the double-sided self-adhesive gudy dot Tape and gudy Roller.dot for easy application of dot adhesive raised a lot of interest.

Neschen bestsellers from the book protection and repair portfolio were showcased, among them filmolux soft and filmolux 609, as well as filmoplast P90 and the transparent variant filmoplast P. The self-adhesive protection film, filmolux soft, from Neschen enables easy cleaning and disinfection of books, preserves them from pollution and wear thus extending their lifespan. It is especially suited for use in libraries and school and displays easy adhesion characteristics. "Our customers talk about filmoluxing", the product manager knows from practice.
Due to its initial reduced adhesion (the full adhesive strength develops only after 24 hours) books can be foiled bubble-free and can thus be corrected during bonding on almost all surfaces. A pre-cut in the backing film enables easy stripping.
Adhesion to the point
Many libraries know Neschen substrates mainly from the area of book protection. At this year's Librarians day, however, they were able to get a glimpse of innovations by the coating specialists: gudy dot Tape for images, photos, poster and prints as well as the associated hand roller gudy Roller.dot registered tremendous appeal. "Particularly I was pleased that our dot materials and our Roller.dot dispenser were received so well. This shows the enormous confidence, built up over years, that our customers have in our products within the book protection sector." Within a short time, it got around the whole hall like a wildfire that Neschen showcases its "amazing dots" at its booth. "People were blown away", says Anja Spitzer.
Gudy dot material is an ideal solution for application of posters and notice boards in libraries. Strapless transfer technology enables application of adhesive dots of the media, a fast and easy job: Smaller areas are serviced with the gudy Roller.dot (dispenser) or gudy dot Tape is applied with a squeegee; bigger projects or large runs are applied professionally with a laminating machine. Thereafter, the medium can be attached bubble-free on next to any surface. Neschen's dot adhesive can be applied to nearly any surface. Libraries, for example, can use gudy dot for putting up a vast selection of products - from photos to poster and large format prints - and all self-adhesive. An additional benefit for the library window: the media can be easily removed without leaving any residues.
