At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, January 7th -10th, Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, will showcase its latest consumer and professional products through a theme of "Dreamers Welcome." Attendees to the booth (#13304 in the Central Hall) will experience inspiring visual displays and interactive product demonstration areas that will inspire attendees to create and share in addition to learning from professional photographer speakers. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view several short films from "Project Imaginat10n," Canon's latest film festival inspired by user-generated photographs at the Project Imaginat10n Theater located in the booth, along with a gallery of images from the PIXMA PRO City Senses tour.

"Now more than ever, consumers are expressing and sharing their everyday moments through images. By using Canon's high-quality imaging devices and intuitive Wi-Fi and cloud-based solutions, consumers can capture superb images and video to connect, share and print quickly and easily," said Yuichi Ishizuka, executive vice president and general manager, Imaging Technologies & Communications Group, Canon U.S.A. "At CES, we've created an environment devoted to revitalizing imaging in a way that speaks to the Canon imaging culture and how we adapt to consumers' diverse lifestyles by offering products that keep them connected and inspire them to share."

An Interactive In-Booth Experience

The "Dreamers Welcome" theme will come to life through engaging in-booth demonstrations that highlight the power of the company's wireless and cloud-enabled solutions. From mobile applications that allow select cameras to be operated remotely, to cloud technology that reinvents the way consumers print, the Canon booth at CES will showcase the creativity and convenience inspired by the company's latest imaging devices. On display will be a variety of products including PIXMA printers featuring PIXMA Printing Solutions (PPS) app cloud-based technology, EOS DSLR cameras, PowerShot digital cameras, and VIXIA camcorders.

Adding to the overall booth experience, attendees can touch-and-try a range of Canon high-performance optics and cameras by entering an in-booth tower that features Canon's full line of DSLR cameras and their Super Telephoto lenses including the EF 800mm f/5.6L IS. Also on display will be the latest professional video and Cinema EOS cameras, as well as large-format, professional photo and business printing solutions. Throughout the show, the Project Imaginat10n Theater will be showing short films from the Project Imaginat10n film festival and a highlight reel of spectacular footage shot and captured with the EOS 70D camera and Cinema EOS equipment as the Company looks to enable both consumers and professionals to tell their story through video as well as still images.

In addition, there will be an EOS 70D camera shooting gallery for guests to experience the capabilities of Dual Pixel CMOS AF, a technology found in the EOS 70D camera, and a section where they can unlock the images they capture by using the PPS-enabled PIXMA MG7120 printers. A photo gallery from PIXMA PRO City Senses, a three-city gallery series aimed at encapsulating an emotion and moment-in-time through the power of printed images, will also be on display.

Engaging Expert Presentations

Guests will have the opportunity to hear from industry-renowned photographers and cinematographers in the Canon booth throughout the show. Members of Canon's Explorers of Light program such as Jack Reznicki, Bruce Dorn and Rick Sammon, will share their professional tips and techniques on various filmmaking and photographic projects.

Committed to World Class Service & Support

Canon will also feature technical service demonstrations right in the Canon booth. Technicians will perform Canon Maintenance Service, which is designed to help ensure optimal condition and performance of Canon EOS Digital SLR cameras and EF lenses. The service will be performed for customers who won a sweepstakes that was conducted on Facebook® and Twitter in December.
