Medica Shortlisted for Luxury Packaging Awards
Benson Group, one of the UK's leading printed folding carton suppliers, is delighted to announce that the packaging created at the company's Medica Packaging business for Baylis & Harding Great Body Firming Cream has been shortlisted in the Cosmetics and Personal Care Pack category for the 2014 Luxury Packaging Awards.
Visitors to the Benson Group stand D7 at the Packaging Innovations show, from easyFairs, taking place on September 31 and October 1, will be able to see the Baylis & Harding pack as well as other personal care and gifting packs exhibiting a range of high-end finishes and designs. Benson Group will also be showing the latest stage of its food-to-go pack innovations. Developing on from the range showcased at Packaging Innovations at Birmingham in February, the company has now developed the range to showcase further unique pack concepts.

Cosmetics and Personal Care Pack Category
This category of The Luxury Packaging Awards was open to all packaging for high-end and luxury cosmetics and personal care products including, but not limited to, creams, mascara, lipstick, lip gloss, nail polish, eye liner, foundation, face powder, shampoo and other haircare products, and skincare and cleaning products. In considering the five key criteria laid out for the awards, judges were briefed to focus not only on the primary packaging of the product but also any presentation cases, boxes, or other secondary packaging in which the product is presented or sold.
