"Benson Delilicious" to Launch at Packaging Innovations

Benson Group will introduce of a range of food-to-go packs under the Benson Delilicious name at Packaging Innovations

Benson Group, one of the UK's leading privately owned printed folding carton manufacturers, has announced that it will introduce of a new range of food-to-go products under the Benson Delilicious brand name at this month's Packaging Innovations exhibition, taking place at Birmingham's NEC on February 26 and 27.

The Benson Delilicious collection will consist of fourteen brand new pieces of packaging, seven of which are currently being registered by the company as unique designs.  Products range from the traditional sandwich and wrap packs to the more futuristic product concepts of picnic sharing and ambient snack packs.

The creation of the collection follows insightful research into the food-to-go market via a detailed customer insight and retail analysis project. The ammunition provided by this research gave Benson Group's design team an excellent view regarding the recent swift growth of the market and the how future trends were likely to shape demand.

"Our design team were inspired by the results of our research to create the packaging products of the future. This exciting collection of packaging designs gives "food to go" a whole new look," said Nikki Clark, Marketing Manager at Benson Group. "Benson Delilicious delivers smart, clever design work that has been integrated with high-quality print and converting techniques to produce a range of sample packs that we hope will get many print buyers thinking creatively."

Whilst Benson Group's constructional and graphic design team have made the outside of the packs look visually stunning, they haven't forgotten about the inside of the packs. The inside surface is prime marketing space and helps to show off the company's new Benson Verso techniques to illustrate cost effective reverse print solutions.

Benson Group has partnered with Medipack to develop board tray and plastic lid packs ideal for presenting visually appealing lunchtime products and snacks, and has worked with Frip to develop a number of window-laminated products. These have been created to produce window-patched packs with laminated internal print suitable for direct food contact.

Benson Group's team looks forward to chatting through our food-to-go range with visitors to our Boutique Café on stand A30 at Packaging Innovations, February 26 and 27. Join the team for a fresh Barista coffee and find out how Benson Group can help your brand
