Colordyne Launches the CDT 3600 Series to Deliver Flexibility to the Label Converter Market

New press benefits from platform developed to be easily upgradable by interchanging modules dependent on application, market or technology

The CDT 3600 Series joins the Colordyne Technologies (CDT) Production Class family of digital print system solutions as a full-featured process color digital label and tag production system with an enhanced precision web handling system, and powered by Memjet™ technology.

The system incorporates broad web substrate support and management through a partnership with PCMC to provide the Servo Drive system; LasX a world class provider of laser die cutting solutions; and the new Aspen print engine featuring Memjet Waterfall Technology®.
The key benefit for converters is the ability to update the core subassemblies as customer requirements changes or new technology becomes available, thus the system can be considered evergreen in nature. The innovative product fully also brings several benefits to the Production Class Digital Color Printing System including, but not limited to, enhanced print quality; increased resolution of 1600 x 1375 dpi; drastically reduced RIP times; speeds up to 225 feet per min (69 meters per min); and a more user-friendly user interface.
