INCOM will exhibit new Archive and Storage Solutions at CeBIT 2015

This year, the value added distributor INCOM presents longterm and high efficient storage solutions for almost every business sector and storage capacity.

As in recent years INCOM is sharing the booth with the VOI e.V. the "Voice of Information" representing leading companies and institutions in the market of information systems (Hall 3/F36). INCOM will present the latest developments in the field of archiving, storage and data distribution.

The "Facebook" blu-ray-jukebox (announced and shown as a prototype at CeBIT 2014) is now released. The HIT Netzon library model 8640 is a smaller version of the industry library developed for Facebook. Using 1 TB media cartridges, the total capacity is close to one 1 Petabyte. This will be the first time INCOM & HIT showcase the 8640 model. The 1 TB media cartridge is a milestone for an exchangable optical media stack that provides high media protection for longterm storage combined with high capacity and reliability. The concept is also adapted by SONY and Panasonic, who have released similiar cartridges. The new concept is remarkable as it offers RAID features for optical media and allows to maintain the standard UDF disc format on each single disc.
Visit the INCOM booth F36 in exhibition hall 3 to have a look at this milestone for longterm data archiving.

In addition INCOM will show the StorEasy ® products for smaller achive needs with a capacity starting from 1 TB. The main features of the StorEasy ® product is 100% data security establishing the 1-2-3 safety concept for data archiving. The StorEasy® WORM Appliance is easy to install and starts capturing defined data sources once added to the network. Professional optical archive discs are regaining high attention because of their longtime durability and energy efficiency to secure huge amounts of low frequently used data.

Other products shown are connectivity solutions from the ATTO, CD/DVD/BD duplication systems / labelprinter from EPSON and Rimage and video surveillance solutions from ACTi.
