Social Business Arena @ CeBIT enters second round

- Networking hub for social business specialists at CeBIT

- Event features top speakers from adjuvi, Postshift and IBM

The networking hub for social business experts is entering the second round. The spotlight at this year's Social Business Arena @ CeBIT will be on the process of digital transformation and the resulting consequences for communication and cooperation in an enterprise. The Arena – a three-day speaker's conference, networking event and marketplace for solutions and services – will draw the leading experts on topics like the "social intranet", social collaboration, Enterprise 2.0, social business and the future of workplace organization.

Just as at CeBIT, the d!conomy and consequently the process of digital transformation is the main topic at many enterprises in 2015. At its core this involves the strategic realignment of an enterprise to new digital value-adding process. "Digitization is about more than simply introducing new technologies; it is a mindset," says Oliver Frese, the Deutsche Messe Managing Board member in charge of CeBIT. This means an enormous process of change at companies and a rethinking of existing organizational and communication structures. "Social technologies" are simultaneous enablers and support tools in the process, as they improve and even revolutionize information sharing and cooperation within existing structures. They are consequently regarded as a key element in the process of digital transformation. And that is why the key issue to be tackled at the Social Business Arena @ CeBIT 2015 involves the way in which social collaboration and social business can optimize existing structures and support the process of digital transformation. The keynoters for 2015 consist of experts from across the globe, including Dion Hinchcliffe (adjuvi), Lee Bryant (Postshift) and Dr. Peter Schütt (IBM).
