RITRAMA UK HAS ANNOUNCED PLANS TO MOVE INTO TAMESIDE

RITRAMA – an Italian business with a global reach – has announced plans to move into Tameside.

The family firm, which has its headquarters in Milan, manufactures self-adhesive materials. It is leaving its base in Eccles to take over a 115,000 sq ft modern building at Tameside Park on Fifth Avenue, Dukinfield. It will be fitted with state-of-the-art equipment able to satisfy the most demanding technical requirements.

Ritrama, who will be bringing 70 jobs with them, have expansion plans in place to create training and employment opportunities for Tameside residents.

Cllr John Taylor, deputy leader of Tameside Council, said: "Ritrama is the latest high-profile company to establish a presence in Tameside which is rapidly making a name for itself as a business-friendly location.

"The council has helped Ritrama throughout the process, identifying suitable premises and supporting them with their relocation plans. We look forward to the creation of lots of jobs over the coming years."

Mark Evans, managing director of Ritrama (UK), added: "We are delighted to be moving to Dukinfield. We hope to bring new jobs, establish apprenticeships, and grow the company for both the benefit of Ritrama and the borough of Tameside."
