The particular use has needed the development of a different kind of film with respect to the automotive version, highly waterproof in order to protect the boat and scratchproof. In addition to "Marine" films, it is possible to put on the boat all the range of Ritrama films, that includes matt shades, chrome shades, glossy shades and carbon or leather-like textures. After the application the most damageable parts will be covered with a scratchproof film, in order to obtain the same characteristics of the nautical films.
How it works
The application is very easy and has to be done only by Ritrama Certified Application Centres technicians. There's no need for any particular preparation, no abrasive material is used, and no material is taken away: just clean the boat perfectly and fill any damaged parts if necessary. In few minutes it will be possible to start with the application that usually is finished within a day for a 9 metres boat. The films needs to rest for about 48 hours. Apart from complete wrapping, it is also possible to realize special decorations or simple details like striping and personalized logos.
