The Felix Schoeller Group releases its new Canvas Collection

The Osnabrück-based Felix Schoeller Group (FSG), the world's leading manufacturer of photographic papers, has expanded its canvas range to include a total of four matt canvas products. The new products are equally suitable for use in large-format printing (inkjet, water-based) for wall decorations and large-format digital reproductions of fine art or photos.

Exceptional product characteristics to meet the highest standards

Senta Becker, product manager for the wall decoration and digital fine art range at FSG, is thrilled with the new canvas products: "This new range of products with their different surface structures and colour nuances has been finished with a high quality ink-receiving layer. With their large colour gamut and natural white and bright white colour nuances, these canvases will satisfy even the most demanding user. They also have another plus point in the converting stage: the classic cotton/polyester half panama weave guarantees excellent workability and high dimensional stability. "

The new range consists of Canvas and Canvas Premium. The two options differ primarily in structure and weight. Canvas has a fine, homogeneous structure and a grammage of 340 g/m². By contrast, Canvas Premium has a deep natural structure and a grammage of 410 g/m². Both canvases are available in Natural White and Bright White. All the canvas materials are free of harmful substances in compliance with Oeko-Tex®-Standard 100 (Confidence in Textiles). Their defining features are high consistency in terms of both material and quality. Another winning feature is their high light resistance with pigmented inks. They have the added advantage of drying immediately after printing.

Canvas 340 g/m²

Its large colour gamut and deep black, combined with a fine homogenous structure, makes Canvas 340 ideal for highly expressive photo reproductions with true-to-life colours, and in particular for images with a high percentage of dark areas.

Canvas Premium 410 g/m²

Their deep, natural structure and haptic presence makes Premium Canvases ideal for use in the artistic and decorative field and will win over photographers, fine art printers and interior designers alike. Premium Natural White has high ageing resistance, since even the base paper has no optical brighteners or acid. Premium Bright White creates a very high image contrast that reproduces crisp, vibrant colours in excellent definition and is absolutely predestined for powerful black-and-white prints. As well as its colour performance, it also has excellent dirt and splash resistance.
