Liqui-Box provides a full service solution for liquid packaging and delivery throughout the world. Today, Liqui-Box is pleased to announce additional investments at their Ashland, Ohio production plant. Liqui-Box will incorporate and enhance their industry leading R&D laboratory within their Ashland, Ohio production facility and create a "Center of Excellence" that will be second to none in the industry.
The Ashland site consistently delivers high quality films, bags and fitments and continues to invest in process and technology improvements such as high capacity bag lines that automate and streamline production processes.
Ashland's existing capabilities include fully integrated film, lamination, and bag making operations to serve Liqui-Box's core markets.
Ken Swanson, CEO of Liqui-Box, commented "The integration of our innovation center within our Ashland, Ohio site will be a great resource for our customers and supports our strong commitment to develop new and improved ways to package and deliver liquid and semi-liquid products". Liqui-Box's in-house research and development lab, currently located at the Worthington, Ohio headquarters, provides valuable feedback and testing of Liqui-Box and customers products as well as the development of exciting new technology. The move and integration of the lab is currently slated for the third quarter of this year. The lab has multiple capabilities including fitment development and testing, package integrity testing, bag and pouch performance testing, and bag to filler interaction analysis to enhance speed to market and ensure high performance products for Liqui-Box customers.
