This collection is realized with Crush, the new eco-friendly range of papers made using process residues from organic products to replace up to 15% of virgin tree pulp.
After hundreds of hours of research and fine tuning, Favini has managed to transform by products from corn, citrus and kiwi fruits, olives, almonds, hazelnuts and coffee beans into extraordinary paper in high fashion colours inspired by nature – and each with a distinct touch created by the differences between the types of material.
In fact elements of each material are visible on the surface of the papers giving a distinctive texture and appearance. Nature Calligraphy comprises of A4 sheets and envelopes between 90 gsm and 250 gsm. It also features three new natural colours, Almond, Olive and Citrus in addition to white, ivory, algae and vellum papers that are already available in Favini's offer.
The development of the new ecological range represents the evolution of Shiro Alga Carta, the first paper produced using the innovative technique that cleared and utilized algal blooms from fragile marine areas to supplement tree pulp.
Favini Calligraphy is also available in Millerighe Calligraphy, Canvas Calligraphy and Linen Calligraphy, in a variety of ivory, vellum and white shades.
