Favini and Nurant awarded at European Design Awards

'Renaissance from a Crisis', the title of the collection of Illustrations created by illustrators Nurant and Leo Burnett, won the bronze medal at the European Design Awards.

The work has been rewarded not only for its design but also because it represents a new way to tackle the economic crisis.The illustrators propose a new approach that sees new ideas as the only way to turn obstacles into opportunities. The protagonist is the individual who uses his thinking as a driving force to tackle challenges, allowing for the future growth of a community.

The publication has been produced on two Favini fine papers. Dolce Vita, the paper that enables high definition print similar to that achieved on a matt coated paper whilst maintaining the tactile characteristics of a natural paper, and Crush Kiwi, the ecological paper made using process residues from organic products to replace up to 15% of virgin tree pulp.
