Favini announces that the company will be participating in the European High-Security Printing™ Conference, a leading international event in the field of document-security and brand-protection technologies and solutions, which is to be held in Milan from 17 to 19 February 2014.
Favini has a long history of innovating in the field of paper manufacturing and expertise in the area of technologically advanced security paper and anti-counterfeiting solutions for several needs and applications.
Less than a year ago, Favini launched Secure-Skin, a special micro-embossing that contains miniaturized messages that can only be seen with at least 10x magnification. Now the company is presenting Secure-Nanolock, a solution that features a code encrypted into a special hologram. This code measures less than 500 μm square and is made up of a holographic pattern that includes a hidden message that can be read using special software on a computer or smartphone. Secure-Nanolock technology includes the ability to incorporate a unique security feature into the hologram and provides a tracking system for both consumer goods and documents.
