Enviro Image Solutions introduces a new technology that saves printers tens of thousands of dollars and prevents thousands of tons of waste.
For the last 7 years, the Enviro Image Solutions (EIS) Blanket Renewal Program has pioneered the idea that printing blankets are multi-use item. Their technology allows what was once a one-time consumable, to now be renewed and reused an average of 4 times.
This saves printers up to 70% of their blanket costs. They have now expanded internationally, as printing companies worldwide make the most efficient use of their consumables, both to save money and to support sustainability initiatives.
EIS also analyzes the damage on individual blankets. They diagnose blanket wear as to the cause of damage, and make custom recommendations without impacting production protocols. This makes the pressroom more efficient. Instead of disposing tons of printing blankets into landfills, those blankets that cannot be renewed are repurposed into alternative fuel, keeping printing blankets entirely out of landfills.
