Xerox Middle East and Africa will be showcasing several machines at Gulf Print & Pack 2019. Among them is their recently launched Xerox® Iridesse™ Production Press, which will be seen at this show for the very first time.
This is the world’s first digital press that can print up to 6 colours (metallic gold, silver, white and clear in addition to CMYK) in a single pass with spot on registration, allowing print providers an immediate competitive edge in the growing digital print enhancement market.
Digital printing enhancements, such as coatings, metallics, white inks, spot colours and gamut extenders, are some of print’s best opportunities today. Print volumes for this kind of enhancement, which goes beyond just CMYK, are projected to grow at a staggering 27 percent annual compound rate through 2020, while delivering margins ranging as high as 50 to 400 percent.
The Iridesse includes a full width array (FWA) and an automated colour quality suite of software (ACQS) to enable colour accuracy and consistency with minimum operator intervention. It is an ideal solution for cost-effective short runs, personalisation and quick turnaround time in today’s demanding print environments. With print a print speed of 120 ppm on all rated stocks as heavy as 400gsm including mixed media and a range of inline finishing options, it can handle the most complex print jobs.
Xerox will be demonstrating various machines and different solutions available to their customers, including InkJet, XM Pie, EFI and much more.
