Epson to introduce new Large Format Printers at Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East 2016

SureColor SCF-6200Epson, a global innovation leader in printing, visual communications, manufacturing and quality of life solutions, will launch its new Large Format Printers (LFP) in signage and dye sublimation series at Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East 2016 in Dubai. At the exhibition to be held from January 10-12th Epson will demonstrate how businesses can improve productivity, streamline workflow and reduce costs with the new series comprising SC S40610, SC S60610 and SC S80610 for signage; and SC F6200 and SC F7200 for dye sublimation. Epson will be present at stand number E170 at Hall 07 in Dubai World Trade Centre.

According to Walid Abdulmoti, Marketing Manager, Epson Middle East: "The new SC-S series (40610, 60610 and 80610) is the result of market research and customer study to offer users a precise and accurate way to create impactful and beautiful signage and displays. The SC-F series (6200 and 7200) enhance Epson's dye-sublimation line-up by offering customers the chance to expand their production capabilities. Both the SC-F7200 and SC-F6200 are capable of producing high-quality printed textiles, such as clothing, sportswear and home textiles, allowing textile producers, photographic studios and promotional product companies to benefit from Epson's high-quality output with peace of mind."

New SC-S Series
Every single component of these printers (SC-S80610, SC-S60610, SC-S40610) has been entirely designed and manufactured by Epson to ensure seamless operation and guarantee professional-quality results. From signage to high-end displays and décor, the range can create precise results on a range of substrates. Everything from exhibition displays, posters and backlit panels, to POS materials, vehicle wraps and wallpaper will be produced with unrivalled accuracy thanks to a highly advanced auto-tension control (AD-ATC) system. This is coupled with a sophisticated feeding system and anti-static wide-diameter pressure rollers to optimise grip and feed accuracy.

Featuring the latest generation Epson PrecisionCore TFP printhead, the range produces outstanding output with superb colours and clarity. Working in tandem with a new formulation Epson UltraChrome GS3 or GS3 with Red inks, users can produce a wide colour gamut for highly accurate colour reproduction. The SC-S80610 benefits from the addition of both red and orange ink to expand the colour gamut, and the possibilities, even further. A 'Precision Dot' high-quality mode makes it easy to improve the overall print quality on a variety of media, which includes clear film, vinyl, canvas and photographic paper, by harmonising various image quality parameters in an easy-to-use way.

Set-up is quick and simple and, once printing is in full flow, the large clear panel offers a view of the printing area, while LED lights allow for easy inspection of the prints.

SC-F7200 and SC-F6200 printers help users reliably and cost-effectively produce superior-quality textiles and promotional goods and expand their production capabilities. The SC-F6200 also offers the flexibility needed to sublimate onto a range of hard substrates. Ideal for companies producing promotional goods, the printer can be used to sublimate onto tailored goods, including mugs and phone and tablet covers. With its new and enhanced capabilities, the SC-F6200 opens up a plethora of new possibilities in the photographic market for printing photos on to substrates such as metal and wood. Alongside this, the SC-F7200 has been exclusively created and developed to help the roll-to-roll textile market create outstanding results.

Both printers utilise Epson's PrecisionCore TFP printhead to produce outstanding, accurate prints with superb colours and clarity. These work in tandem with the UltraChrome DS ink-set to help users achieve the best-possible results. A new HDK Black ink has been created primarily for textile printing, to help produce deep, neutral blacks and dense shadows. Users printing on rigid substrates will benefit from the standard black ink, as it produces smooth gradations, perfect for the creation of promotional goods.

Furthermore, both models include a number of ways to help customers keep their costs low. High-capacity ink systems mean a low printing cost per square metre, while the use of Epson's genuine inks ensures less cleaning and fewer printhead replacements are needed to help reduce possible downtime. Disposing of waste ink is now easier and more cost-effective as both printers now include a two-litre bottle to collect wastage. Both products are also available with Epson's managed print service programme, which allows tighter budget control and helps reduce overstocking.
