Digital signage and printers worth over AED220 million to be unveiled at SGI Dubai 2016

Printing revenues in MENA to reach $26 billion by 2018 and global digital signage market to touch$20.03 billion by 2020

International Expo Consults (IEC) part of Falak Holding stated that SGI Dubai 2016 will showcase digital signage panels and state-of-the-art novel printers worth over AED220 million. The exhibition serves as a successful platform and caters to the needs of stakeholders and trade visitors' year on year in the signage, digital signage, retail signage solutions, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries.

The global digital signage market is expected to touch $20.03 billion by 2020; according to a new study by Grand View Research Inc. As per reports, the UAE digital signage market alone is pegged to grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of around 23% during 2014-2019. According to Smithers Pira report, printing industry revenues in the MENA region is forecast to grow at 7.2% per annum and this would touch US$26 billion by 2018. This growth is being attributed to the surge in retail, travel and tourism and hospitality industries in addition to the fact that government has undertaken key infrastructure expansion initiatives.

SGI Dubai 2015, an official DSF event welcomed over 400 global exhibitors from across 34 countries and registered over 12,781 trade visitors from 78 countries during the three days during January this year The 'SGI Dubai 2016' show will be held from January 10th to 12th at the Halls 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
