The 19th China International Pharmaceutical Industry Exhibition (CHINA-PHARM 2014), which is jointly organized by China Center for Food and Drug International Exchange and Messe Du?sseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, will be held at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center during 28th to 31st October, 2014. . After editions held in Beijing and Shanghai alternatively over the past few years, CHINA-PHARM will stage this year in Shenzhen, which located in the southern of China. It will serve as a platform for exchanging latest information in the sectors of pharmaceuticals, food and cosmetics.
With an active participation of exhibitors from home and abroad as well as appearance of more global pavilions, CHINA-PHARM 2014 turns out to be a show of international leveral
CHINA-PHARM 2014 has a floor area of around 30,000 m2. It's expected that over 500 renowned domestic and foreign businesses will make presence, attracting over 25,000 trade visitors. Approximately 15% of visitors are from overseas.
Staging in Shenzhen in this year, CHINA-PHARM 2014 has been greatly supported by the exhibitors with over 80 percent booths sold out so far. Numerous previous exhibitors will continue participating in CHINA-PHARM 2014, including Rieckermann, Austar, Rommelag, ldpharmequip, CKD, Marchesini, Macroprocess, Siemens, SHINVA, Shanghai Morimatsu, JOYEA, Hunan China Sun, CEFOC, Double-crane, Findnovo, etc. Moreover, quite a few previous exhibitors will expand the size of booth. Several country/regional pavilions will show at CHINA-PHARM 2014, including those from Germany, the UK, Italy, and Taiwan. Companies from these countries/regions will leverage on the ideal platform offered by CHINA-PHARM to gain their footing in the Chinese market.
This year, the organizing committee of CHINA-PHARM will take various approaches to attract more visitors. By doing so, it's expected that exhibitors can accurately identify target buyers on site, thus achieving satisfactory results
CHINA-PHARM has received full support from interpack
Interpack, as the global counterpart exhibition of CHINA-PHARM, has been successfully held in Du?sseldorf in May. Leading companies of pharmaceutical equipment and packaging in China have organization of CHINA-PHARM. The China Pavilion of Top Pharmaceutical Machinery (Hall 17) was composed of the following companies: Shanghai Hengyi, Hunan FE Pharmaceutical Machinery, Beijing C&C CAMBCAVI, Beijing Double-crane, Zhejiang Xiaolun, Shanghai Tianxiang & Chentai Pharmaceutical Machinery, Liaoning Chunguang Machinery, etc. During Interpack, companies of the China Pavilion not only showcased Chinese corporate brands and first-rate products, but landed lots of orders as well, achieving remarkable results.
CHINA-PHARM has successfully organized the China Pavilion during Interpack. Chinese companies at the exhibition deeply recognized that the platform established by CHINA-PHARM had plenty of resources in industry cooperation and strong capacity for expansion in the Chinese and overseas markets.
In addition, CHINA-PHARM held the "China Day" event during Interpack, in a bid to introduce the current status of food and drug supervision and the drug industry in China, the development scheme of CHINA-PHARM, the approaches for overseas companies to explore the Chinese market, etc. More than 50 representatives of Chinese and foreign companies, media and associations participated in the event, including VDMA, IMA LIFE, Marchesini, OPTIMA Pharma, P.E. Lababellers, Heuft System, VITRONI, Colamark, C&C CAMBCAVI, General Machine, Chanse Mechatronics, Changzhou Yibu Drying Equipment, etc.
During the "China Day" event, the organizing committee of CHINA-PHARM announced the major developments of CHINA-PHARM in 2015. Next year, CHINA-PHARM will be expanded and concurrently held with Shanghai World of Packaging (swop), aiming to integrate more resources of buyers and achieve win-win results for the platform established by CHINA-PHARM.
International forums concerning pharmaceuticals and cosmetics will be held on site for interpreting policies and regulations
Concurrent events of the past editions also provided an opportunity for exhibitors and trade visitors to exchange ideas on policies, targets and expertise. Besides ISPE-CCPIE China Conference, China International Cosmetics Convention will be held concurrently in 2014.
In 2014, the Center of Food and Drug Audit and Inspection of China Food and Drug Administration (the former Drug Certification Center) will become an official organizer of events of China's pharmaceutical industry. The organizing committee will hold a series of professional forums and training programs, including the workshops of drug quality management and ISPE-CCPIE China Conference to be held during CHINA-PHARM. During the workshops of drug quality management, the following topics will be explored: computer system for newly revised Pharmaceutical GMP, verification of sterile preparations and solid preparations, new appendices to newly revised Pharmaceutical GMP, etc. In April 2014, the Spring Workshop of Drug Quality Management was successfully held in Shanghai. More than 150 representatives attended the workshop and took an active part in heated discussions. Experts from the Center of Food and Drug Audit and Inspection of China Food and Drug Administration (the Drug Certi fication Center) interpreted the detailed rules of the newly revised Pharmaceutical GMP, while directors of QA verification from companies shared valuable practical cases. The Summer Workshop of Drug Quality Management will be held in July 2014 in Beijing. ISPE-CCPIE China Conference will be held in October 2014 in Shenzhen.
China International Cosmetics Convention will also be concurrently held with CHINA-PHARM in October 2014 in Shenzhen. The Convention will consist of a two-day thematic conference and three sub-conventions. Several key topics will be elaborated and discussed, including policies on cosmetics supervision, safety of and innovation on raw materials of cosmetics, cosmetics production and safety control, examination and evaluation on and safety of Chinese herbal cosmetics, innovation on packaging and marketing strategies, etc. Experts from competent authorities and cosmetics associations of many countries will be invited to present a complete picture of the latest Chinese policies, laws and regulations on cosmetics and disclose first-hand information regarding the developments of the cosmetics market.
Currently, both exhibitor recruitment of CHINA-PHARM and registration of concurrent convention are in full swing.
