Newscycle's cloud-based circulation software brings new revenue opportunities to Hearst properties

Hearst Newspapers signed a long-term agreement with NEWSCYCLE Solutions to install Newscycle's circulation management system at 14 of Hearst's properties in California, Connecticut, Texas, Michigan, Illinois and New York. The new software will be deployed in Newscycle's cloud environment and includes Digital Paymeter, the company's digital subscription system, for Hearst's larger metropolitan market newspapers.

Hosting its new circulation system in Newscycle Cloud will help Hearst lower operational costs, increase productivity levels, and achieve greater efficiencies. Automatic version upgrades will keep Hearst properties up-to-date with the most current circulation software features. With Newscycle Circulation, Hearst gains a powerful system to improve every aspect of its circulation and distribution processes.

"Timely and accurate information pertaining to a media company's circulation business, subscription levels, and subscriber satisfaction is key to maximizing sales revenue," said Dana Midby, Director of Product Strategy for Newscycle's Commerce Solutions. "Hearst Newspapers is an industry leader when it comes to circulation insight. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Hearst to deliver a proven, reliable, cloud-based solution that enables digital growth and ongoing revenue diversification."

Tightly integrated with Newscycle's circulation system, Digital Paymeter gives Hearst Newspapers the benefit of tying digital marketing, digital subscription sales, and customer service into a single, real-time platform making the shift to digital business much more effective.

"Hearst Newspapers is focused on future growth and using technology that is critical to meeting its goals," said Randal Meske, Vice President, Sales, Newscycle.
