Formax introduces the new ColorMaxLP Digital Color Label Printer. Using the latest inkjet technology, the ColorMaxLP produces brilliant full-color labels on demand from a compact, tabletop unit.

The ColorMaxLP allows users to print custom labels on demand instead of buying large quantities of pre-printed labels. This offers a great cost savings, plus the flexibility to change design elements at any time, with no wasted, outdated labels.
The ColorMaxLP prints at speeds of up to 60 feet per minute and uses a unique inkjet print head with 70,400 ink nozzles to accurately reproduce up to 16.8 million colors. The ColorMaxLP produces up to 1600 x 1600 dpi on a variety of label sizes and stocks, including gloss, semi-gloss and matte finishes, and has the capacity for full-bleed printing up to 8.5" wide. Users have the choice of three output modes; roll-to-roll, roll-to-cut, and print & hold.
With a short startup time of just 10 seconds, and high-capacity ink tanks, the ColorMaxLP is up and running quicker and for longer uninterrupted print runs.
Standard features include an integrated unwinder which is enclosed to protect against dust, an intuitive LCD control panel, built-in automatic cutter, label design software and easy-access service bays for ink cartridge replacement.
Options include an automatic roll-to-roll rewinder, Wasatch SoftRIP color matching software, a variable data printing module, and a convenient adjustable-height cabinet.
