Nth Degree Imaging kicks off Roland Dealership in fine style

Nth Degree Imaging, one of the UK's premier suppliers of solutions to the graphic arts industry, is already seeing the benefits of its recent appointment as a Roland DG Dealer, with a successful attendance at Sign & Digital UK and a strong sales pipeline for its new portfolio of Roland DG wide format solutions.

"We were appointed a Roland DG dealer just prior to Sign & Digital UK," says Managing Director, Phil Dowson, who is also a professional rugby player for Aviva Premiership side, Northampton Saints and has represented England, "so we thought we'd kick off our relationship with Roland on a high by bringing the Aviva Premiership trophy the club currently holds to Sign & Digital and placing it on the Roland DG stand!"
"This turned out to be a great initiative. It's a very impressive piece of silverware and proved a good point of reference to start a conversation with those who had come onto the stand to see it." And, this approach is something Mr Dowson is finding success with more generally too: "What I'm finding with a number of potential customers," continues Phil "is that discussing rugby is a real icebreaker, and helps to level the playing field. There is a real buzz out there around this year's Rugby World Cup and everyone's got a view on who is going to win! So, from there it's a simple transition to talk about their own business needs."

Mr Dowson says Roland DG has a long-established and respected reputation in the market for robust, high-performance wide format equipment and this has helped to quickly build up the sales pipeline. "One of my customers, Zedi Signs, which has also been a loyal sponsor of both me and the club for the last six years, has recently invested in a Roland GX-500 through us and we already have a number of other strong leads at various stages in the sales process, which we hope to fulfil over the next few months."

Nth Degree has also recently developed its own proprietary Augmented Reality App that works in combination with Roland wide format printers and offers customers a unique and compelling proposition. Mr Dowson says this package is really whetting the appetite of those looking to gain competitive advantage in a sector of the industry that offers a great deal of opportunity right now.
"When you start to look around the rugby community, there are a large number of individuals involved in the print industry in some shape or form. It's a sport that by its very nature seems to attract people from innovative, resourceful and successful companies, so it's a great place for a company like ours to draw customers from. It's a very positive start and the beginning of what I believe will be a very successful partnership between Nth Degree Imaging and Roland DG," concludes Mr Dowson.

Says Rob Goleniowski, Sales Support Manager, Roland DG: "We're very pleased to welcome Phil and his team at Nth Degree Imaging into the Roland DG dealer family. The Aviva Premiership trophy was a welcome addition to the Roland stand at Sign & Digital UK and attracted a lot of interest, which was great. Clearly, Phil brings the same determination and passion to succeed that he shows on the field to his business. With Roland DG I know he has a partner that not only shares his passion and determination, but also offers a robust and innovative technology portfolio that will enable him to fulfil his ambitions."
