Roland DG to unveil brand new VersaUV LEF-300 flatbed printer at events across Europe

Roland DG has announced it will be showcasing the productivity and versatility of its newly-launched VersaUV LEF-300 LED UV inkjet flatbed printer at a series of high profile promotional product and wide-format print events across Europe during the first quarter of 2016.

The LEF-300 will be shown at:

PTE Milan, Italy: 20th-22nd January
C!Print Lyon, France: 26th-28th January
Promogift Madrid, Spain: 27th-29th January
Give A Days Stuttgart, Germany: 4th-6th February
Printwear & Promotion Birmingham, UK: 28th February – 1st March
FESPA Digital 2016 Amsterdam, Netherlands: 8th -11th March
Roland Experience Day Barcelona, Spain: 14th March

The LEF-300, launched on 12th January, is the largest and fastest new addition to the popular VersaUV series, used to produce a vast array of profitable customised applications. Thanks to an impressive range of efficiency-optimising features, the LEF-300 enables bi-directional printing approximately 60% faster than the VersaUV LEF-20*, so customers can achieve even greater levels of productivity.

At the events, visitors will have the chance to see the LEF-300 up-close and in action. Live demonstrations will highlight the ease and efficiency with which the LEF-300 can transform an amazing variety of low-cost ordinary objects into high-profit personalised items; including mobile phone covers, USB sticks, pens, golf balls and much more.

With the LEF-300, customers can direct print on to a huge range of items and substrates up to 100mm high and 8kg in weight including acrylic, wood, board, plastic and soft materials such as fabric, leather and eco-leather. With a primer it is also possible to print on metal and glass. Visitors will discover how the LEF-300’s versatility, productivity and quality of output can add tremendous value to their business by expanding their product portfolios and increasing their production capabilities.

Gillian Montanaro, Head of Marketing, Roland DG EMEA: “The customised merchandise and promotional print market is showing impressive growth with an ever-increasing demand for personalised, cost-effective and high-quality print delivered with a fast turnaround. Digital print technology is the ideal solution to meet these demands and we look forward to demonstrating to visitors how the brand new LEF-300 can help them to take best advantage of these exciting opportunities.”

Complementing the LEF-300 at the events will be devices from Roland’s best-selling print and cut range. Delivering colour and contour cut graphics on a broad spectrum of coated and uncoated media, Roland’s integrated print and cut technology enables the efficient customisation and branding of a huge variety of apparel, textile and promotional applications. Applications include workwear, sportswear, promotional clothing, accessories, banners, flags, vehicle graphics, stickers and posters.

Gillian Montanaro: “Whether you are already supplying branded giveaways to large corporate customers and want to explore the advantages that digital print can offer, or you are looking to diversify into the promotional goods market; whatever your current levels of production, Roland has a solution to meet your needs.”

“Visitors will be inspired by the vast array of imaginative ideas for new, profitable applications and they will come away with a good understanding of how to maximise the benefits of Roland’s digital technology.
