Roland DG is showing its VersaUV LEF-20 and LEJ-640F UV printers at PSI, the most important European trade fair for the promotional products industry. This trade show is taking place in Düsseldorf from 8 - 10 January. Roland DG will be present at booth B-40 in hall 12.
Even the smallest of jobs is profitable with the LEF-20
The VersaUV LEF-20 is Roland DG's newest flatbed printer for gadgets, business gifts and promotional products. The machine has a print area of 508 by 330 mm and prints razor-sharp text and images on iPhone and tablet covers, pens, USB sticks and other objects or plates up to 10 cm thick.
The LEF-20 works with UV ink that cures under the influence of an LED lamp. No heat is involved in this process, which means that heat-sensitive materials and electronics can be printed with no problems at all. The printer is equipped with four standard colours (cyan, magenta, yellow and black), white and clear ink. The white ink creates beautiful results on dark and transparent backgrounds. The clear ink can be used to produce prints with glossy or matte finishes or to create doming effects. These effects are produced by printing several layers of this ink, creating a textured effect.
In short, the VersaUV LEF-20 offers a quick and inexpensive solution for personalizing promotional articles. With this printer, the size of the order is not important. Personalizing a limited number or even only one object does not entail any extra expense.
LEJ-640F is ideal for larger jobs
The VersaUV LEJ-640F personalizes larger series of gadgets and promotional articles with gorgeous prints. It is the largest flatbed printer from the Roland DG range and has a print area of 1.6 m by a maximum of 3.3 m. The machine prints CMYK, white and clear inks on flexible as well as rigid substrates with a maximum thickness of 15 cm.
