Roland DG expands Texart sublimation solutions via a calender system

Roland DG is pleased to announce a professional calender system for use with the Texart sublimation printer. Thanks to the calender, the prints produced on the Texart RT-640 are sublimated at high speed onto a variety of materials for sports apparel, flags, banners, interior decoration and much more.

The Texart CS-64 is a sturdy 64" (162.5cm) calender that satisfies the requirements of textile printers and sign makers. This user-friendly and attractively priced heat transfer machine is suitable for both beginner and experienced textile printers. The roller transfers prints from transfer paper onto materials containing polyester or fixes ink on directly printed textiles. The CS-64 has a practical speed of 40 m²/hr and is suitable for both large volumes and smaller orders.

The calender may be extended using a table (CS-TAB), thus ensuring smooth transfers onto pre-cut fabric. This is ideal for sports wear made of both stretch and non-stretch materials. A collecting unit (CS-BIN) is also available, which may be mounted on the rear side of the calender to receive the pieces of fabric as they are fed through the roller.

The Texart CS-64 will be available in March 2015.

Complete solution

The CS-64 calender is used in conjunction with the Texart RT-640 printer, which Roland DG launched in October. The RT-640 is an advanced sublimation printer with innovative printing technology and powerful RIP software. The device works with original sublimation inks using either four (CMYK) or eight colours (CMYKLcLm + Orange + Violet).

By adding the calender to the Texart range, Roland DG is now able to offer a complete solution for sublimation printing. According to Michel Van Vliet, Product Manager at Roland DG Central Europe: "We have a "total solution" philosophy whereby we provide our customers with complete applications. We offer a high quality sublimation printer with the accompanying inks, professional software and now also a calender system. All components are fully compatible, enabling users to consistently achieve the desired results."
