Williams Lea Group Announces ISO 27001:2005 Certification Achievement

Certification for both Wheeling and India delivery centers demonstrates Williams Lea capabilities in driving global standards, consistency and best practices across its global platform.

The Williams Lea Group was successfully awarded the ISO 27001:2005 certification for their Wheeling, WV Delivery Center. Along with their India Delivery Centers' prior achievement of the ISO 27001:2005 certification, this demonstrates globally consistent, best-in-class information security standards and is an exceptional value-add for the company's existing and future clients.

The Williams Lea Group includes Williams Lea and Tag Worldwide. Williams Lea is a global leader in providing specialist BPO services which re-engineer information flow and improve business performance for global firms while Tag, a leading brand services company, works with global brands to deliver marketing communications consistently across all media and all markets through smart centralization of production.

The Group's Wheeling Delivery Center has experienced 30% growth in new Williams Lea client activity over the past 18 months. The Group recently expanded their Tag brand services operations to their global delivery centers in Wheeling and India, as well.

The ISO 27001:2005 standard is an internationally acclaimed and proven management framework for robust management of Information Security across 11 domains (Security Policy, Physical security, communications & operations management, HR Security, Asset Management, Access Control, BCM, Compliance, etc.). The standard is supplemented by ISO 27002:2005, a code of practice which contains best practices/implementation guidance to support with the implementation of the standard.

"We have made a significant commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients around the globe," said Aurora Coya, Global CEO for Williams Lea. "Our ISO 27001:2005 certifications are the result of our ongoing efforts to improve and evolve our information security and operational delivery methods."

"The certification provides us with a competitive edge in the marketplace," said John Snowdon, Managing Director of India & Wheeling Service Delivery Centers. "It leads to increased assurance and confidence among existing clients. It stands as a testimony to our robust information security practices, while promoting enhanced awareness/security culture among employees leading to reduced security incidents."
